# - Heart breaking after carrying him to the OR. Had to hand him over to the surgery assistant. #
- I now know just a little bit what Heavenly Father felt when the Savior cried in abandon as He suffered through the atonement. Just a little. #
- Jonninator is done! Surgeon said HUGE adenoid w/ tissue growing into back of nose. He told us he wished he could have taken a photo! #
- He’s in post anasthesia recovery now. Waiting anxiously to hold him again. #
- Apology, tweets updated late throgh the surgery. Now have access. #
- Finally in his bedroom where we’ll stay for the night. Took a while for him to settle down. #
- He’s glued to me right now, watching Elmo; Nemo (the movie) was what helped settle him down earlier. #
- Poor baby, I’m sure he didn’t fully understand what happened. I’m so grateful that all went well and that he’s settling down. #
- Wow, the nurse had to “sign with her blood” to borrow Nemo from Recovery. Unreal, can’t they understand it’s just about comforting a child? #

- Baby is terrified for me to leave. Holding my arm under his head while he sleeps. He’s such a sweet heart. #

- @jcruzer yeah, that was nuts. Jonathan is resting and I’ve been able to run for abt an hour to run some errands. Yolanda’s taken over atm. #

- Boy, wish he’d take some pain reliever. So shook up he doesn’t want anything for relief. #
- Rough. Lots of pain; Thomas the Tank Engine is helping get his mind off of it.

- Okay, Barney is working. In my lap and enjoying the show. Really abhors it when a nurse comes in. Goes crazy. #
- Amazing, the new tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy is performed w/ an instrument that kind of cauterizes (low temp) & is a bloodless surgery. #
- What’s truly amazing is the near zero recovery time: 2 hrs after surgery he was eating solid foods, albeit soft, they are regular vs. ice. #
- He’s eating up mashed potatoes & gravy, pizza casserole & rolls from the cafeteria right now and loving it! Dancing to singing Barney. #
